Being in harmony with micro-adventure

By road, bike, sea or rail, there are lots of facilities in the region so you can travel out easily from your base camp.

By bike

Get on your bike and set off to explore the 5 towns of the Cœur du Bassin. The Vélodysée connects Lanton, Audenge and Biganos, thanks to a cycle path that runs along the towns through the forest. Escape the hustle and bustle of the town and immerse yourself in the heart of the pine forest, hardwoods and ferns. In the heart of the Landes de Gascogne Regional Natural Park, you’ll be amazed by the benefits of a bike ride in the forest.

Little extras: Tyre inflation areas are available free of charge in all towns around the Bay.

Trip on coastal path

Take on the coastal path and admire the wildlife to be found in the heart of the Cœur du Bassin d’Arcachon. Connecting 6 ports and 3 beaches, it runs along the region’s maritime facade.

From the beautiful villas of Taussat-Les-Bains in the north, to the port of Biganos in the south, it’s transformed, for those who so wish, into a secondary route to Santiago de Compostela. All along the trail, open your eyes and enjoy a setting that alternates remarkable architectural heritage and memorable natural sites.

Testimony

We’re cycling enthusiasts. My husband takes the kids to school and nursery by tricycle every morning; for my part, I go to work by bike and, on weekends, we have a family bike ride if the weather allows.

Moreover, when we moved to Biganos, we cycled around the Bay a month after our arrival, which was great. The network of cycle paths is fantastic in the Bay of Arcachon.
