One of the natural jewels of the Arcachon Bay
With its fine sand and transparent waters, the Banc d’Arguin is a favourite place to go for the day to get some fresh air. Located at the entrance to the Arcachon Bay, this bank is a National Nature Reserve, home to many birds and dune vegetation.
Magnificent Natural reserve
Accessible only by boat, it’s quite a trip just to get there. Aboard a catamaran, head south to reach one of the natural gems of the Arcachon Bay.
Once moored facing the Dune-du-Pilat, with your feet in the water, you can savour this timeless moment. Some will go and visit the bank (part of it remains inaccessible as it’s protected for migratory birds), others will take the opportunity to swim in the crystal-clear waters and natural pools formed by the tides.
